Tiffin University Forensic Science Camp Participation
R.A. McClure Inc. represented the Institute of Makers of Explosives IME and member company Hilltop Energy at the Tiffin University forensic camp. Attendees were able to see several different types of explosives being detonated. The highlight of the demo was the detonation of a car bomb.
The explosives part of the forensic program gave attendees an opportunity to better understand explosives how they function. The highlight of experience was the detonation of a Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device VBIED in a car and seeing the post-blast investigation.

McClure, Inc. for explosive safety. “In recognition of an excellent safety record in the commerce of commercial explosives” The 2021 award presentation was held at the I.M.E.’s fall meeting in San Diego California.
